Our story: Care, Community and Compassion
Our members are at the center of everything we do. From our programs and services to the support we give our providers, we always put our members first. We are proud to oversee service delivery for our members' medical, long term care, developmental and behavioral needs. We work with a large network of providers. Our strong provider partnerships ensure delivery of quality, integrated and coordinated health care for our members.
We give back to the community. We live and work in Arizona. Mercy Care is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We connect with the community agencies whose mission it is to improve the health of those in Arizona.
Our employees act with respect, care, compassion and understanding. We give back hundreds of volunteer hours each year to serve others.
There are three plans under Mercy Care:
Mercy Care provides health care coverage for members enrolled in AHCCCS, Arizona’s Medicaid program, including:
- Single persons
- Couples without children
- Elderly individuals
- Physically disabled members
- Medicare cost-sharing members
- Individuals with developmental disabilities
Mercy Care Long Term Care
Mercy Care Long Term Care provides health care coverage for members enrolled in AHCCCS, ALTCS. Mercy Care Long Term Care provides nursing home and in-home care.
Members enrolled in Mercy Care and Mercy Care Long Term Care must meet AHCCCS and ALTCS eligibility requirements.
Mercy Care Advantage
We also offer a Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plan, called Mercy Care Advantage. This plan is for members who are eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid (AHCCCS).
How our services are funded
Services are funded mainly under contract with AHCCCS and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
